The purpose of direct mail marketing is to thank prior customers for their business, to remind them (that you’re still there…) and to encourage another sale by introducing a sale or special offer
While there is a high return rate on direct mail marketing, perhaps enough to cover the expenses (of a copywriter, publication, and mailing costs) there is far more sense in utilizing a direct mail marketing strategy that won’t be tossed into the junk mail bin
